Terms and Conditions

All goods supplied by Opus Planters (“the company”, “We” or “us) are sold subject to the following terms and conditions.

Variations

These terms and conditions may only be varied in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Opus Planters.

Prices

All prices are correct at time of going to press but the Company reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice. A delivery charge will be added to orders where appropriate. For our delivery charges please see Delivery.

Credit

To open a credit account we require the full completion of the Opus Planters Credit Account
Application form. This must include references from two companies with whom you have credit facilities and the name and address of your bank with account number. Upon receipt of satisfactory references an account will be opened.

Payment

We accept cheques, Paypal, debit/credit card payments or balance transfers from new customers. All invoices are net and require full payment within strictly 30 days from the date of invoice.
The Company reserves the right to charge interest for overdue payments in accordance with government guidelines as detailed in ‘The Late Payment Commercial Debt Regulations 2002’

Delivery

All prices Listed EXCLUDE the cost of packing, packaging & delivery which will be an additional charge. Please use the list below as a guideline to these costs;

1 item = £14.95 / PARCEL DELIVERY
2 items = £29.95 / PARCEL DELIVERY
3 items = £45.00 / PARCEL DELIVERY
4+ items = £65.00 / PALLETISED DELIVERY
ARTIC DELIVERIES = £400.00 (negotiable depending on order value)

All quoted delivery prices are for mainland UK. Please contact us for delivery rates if you are not located on mainland UK. Please note orders for non-UK mainland addresses will not be processed unless you have first sought agreement from Opus Planters to ship goods to your part of the UK/Ireland and have obtained from us the cost of shipping the item to you.

Deliveries are usually within 10-14 working days. Allow up to 21 working days for delivery of large or bespoke orders. Customers who require a more rapid delivery time should contact us prior to ordering and we will do our utmost to meet there requirements.
Although the company will do its utmost to meet delivery dates, any times quoted are estimates only and the company shall not be liable for failure to dispatch/deliver within such time.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check that all items are correct and all pieces accounted for before signing delivery notes.

Return of goods

It is the customer’s responsibility to check that all items are correct and all pieces accounted for before you sign upon delivery. If you are not entirely satisfied with the products that you have purchased you may return them to us within 14 days. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange or at our discretion, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, unused, and with the original packaging.

Warranties

Opus Planters products are warranted against defects in material and quality of workmanship. Goods suffering from any manufacturing defect will be accepted for return under manufacturers' warranty within 30 days of purchase, although warranties will be considered void in the case of neglect, misuse or intentional destructive use of our products.
We (“Opus Planters”)make every effort to avoid problems and errors but in the rare instance of a mistake.. If delivery is not received as ordered (style, colour, size, Etc), our responsibility and liability is limited to correcting the specific error only, and we will do so as quickly as possible.

Goods in transit

We accept no liability for loss or damage in transit except in the case of goods sold delivered and in such case our responsibility will be limited to replacing or repairing the missing or damaged goods, or at our discretion, refunding the purchase price. In any event no claim will be considered unless the company is notified in writing or Email within three days of receipt of the goods.

Water-tight Planters

Planters sold and supplied as watertight can leak on site due to damage sustained in delivery, planting or while in-situ and therefore the company accepts no responsibility for any consequential damages to third party property or damage allegedly sustained from leaking planters. The company strongly recommends a water test prior to use. The Company will repair or replace free of charge, any planters sold as watertight that are found to be leaking.

Title of goods

Title to goods supplied by the company shall remain with The Company until such times as all monies due from the customer to The Company has been paid in full. The Company reserves the right to recover any goods supplied and not paid for without regards to where the goods are located or on whose premises the goods are located.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to changes and at the discretion of Opus planters
